Celebrate the start of the summer holidays with a weekend full of family fun at the National Zoo & Aquarium!

The zoo will come alive from 10am to 3pm on both Friday 26 December and Saturday 27 December with festive entertainment and free lawn games designed to delight guests of all ages.

Across both days visitors can enjoy an exciting line-up of holiday activations. Relax in the Viewing Park as you listen to live music or get a bit competitive while joining in on lawn games.

As with any weekend, no celebration is complete without delicious treats! Follow the aromas to our special wagyu sausages and burgers plus purchase fresh baked goods from our NZACT volunteers.

All activities are free for members and included with general admission, making it the perfect way to welcome the holidays with family and friends. And this is just the beginning! We will be offering exciting activities all summer long so stay tuned to our website and social media for updates!
