Rhino Bistro
The Rhino Bistro is our main food outlet with freshly cooked hot and cold food available. It is located at the Viewing Park in the open range section, adjoining the Zoo Entry from Car Parks 3 and 4 and next to the playground. Indoor and outdoor tables available.

With plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, it's the perfect place to have a meal, cold drink or coffee. There is a large variety of burgers, fish and chips, calamari, nuggets and other hot food options (cooked meals available daily from 9:30am-2:00pm) and sandwiches, wraps/rolls & sweets available all day. Breakfast options such as bacon and egg rolls, ham and cheese croissants & Vegetarian Breakfast rolls are available from 9:30am until 11am.

Lunch: 11:00am-2:00pm on weekdays, 11:00am-2:30pm on weekends & public/school holidays.
Jungle Vines Cafe
The Jungle Vines Cafe is located next to the lower car park entry, adjacent to Monkey Island. Grab a quick snack, a pie and a cold drink, or relax with a coffee and a sweet treat at our indoor or outdoor areas.
Open 9:30am to 5:00pm daily.
Meerkat Snack Shack
The Meerkat Snack Shack is located adjacent to the Meerkat Enclosure at point 16 on the map. This venue is open on busy weekends and school holidays from 11:00am - 2:00pm. There is plenty of outdoor seating in the area and is a great place to stop for a snack on your travels! A selection of sandwiches, wraps/rolls, pies, sweet treats and ice creams are available.
ZooZizzle
The ZooZizzle BBQ runs on very busy weekends and school holidays from 11:30am - 2:00pm. Located outside the Jungle Vines Cafe, this is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and watch the cheeky Squirrel Monkeys play!

PICNIC AREAS & CABANAS With a wide range of options are available, there is something for everyone! Cabanas, tables and free BBQs are available in the new area of the Zoo in the Viewing Park and 3 different options are available in the lower section of the Zoo, all surrounding the Meerkat exhibit and the Meerkat Snack Shack. Cabanas and seating can also be found in the AdventureLand Playground, as well as on the Lion Catwalk.
These facilities, along with grassed areas, are suitable for anything from a simple picnic or BBQ, to a large family or corporate event, whilst being surrounded by some of the zoo’s most amazing animals.
Our grassed areas, picnic tables, covered gazebos and cabanas are all shared facilities and are free to use on a first come basis. Booking a table isn’t required and there is plenty of seating to choose from.
