Weekend Festivals
1- Wild Festivals of fun
A monthly full weekend celebration with:
Live music & entertainment - Wild Tunes on the Savannah
Cultural food experiences - Wild Feasts
Games, themed activities and pop-up fun - Wild Discoveries
A different global region or theme each month
Perfect for families, couples, adults and tourists.
2- Wild winning weekends
Once a month we will have games, activities, outdoor or indoor large-screen TVs (weather dependent) and regular keeper talks as well as your chance to win special prizes.
Prizes include a night at Jamala Wildlife Lodge, Tours, Encounters and Gift Shop Vouchers.
3- Wild weekends of animals
We will be celebrating international or special animal days as well as other significant national days.
On these days, we will have special keeper talks, limited edition collectables and one or more of our rotating children’s programs;

Wild Tunes on the Savannah
Whenever there is live music at the zoo, it will be part of:

From jazz and folk to cultural drumming, local bands and performers - music brings the zoo to life.
Wild Explorers
One weekend each month, kids (and curious adults!) can join our Wild Explorers adventures, featuring:
Educational workshops
Keeper-led discovery sessions
Explorer trails and animal learning experiences
Meet our roving dinos & animal mascots
Silent Disco
Movies in the park
Wildlife Explorers is a hands-on, interactive, and surprise-filled program, perfect for young adventurers!
