Puggle Club
Puggle Club sessions blends story time, friendly animal encounters, and hands-on craft activities, creating a playful space to learn, create, and connect with the natural world. Sessions are designed for preschoolers, typically ages 3 – 4, but welcomes all little nature lovers ready for fun.
Zoocation School Holiday Program
Our Zoocation School Holiday Program is the perfect day out for Vacation Care! With an overarching theme each holidays and different activities to try, pick one for a special day out, or book in the week for the full learning experience! Kids Keeper for a Day
Future wildlife champions can step into the boots of a real zookeeper in our Kids Keeper for a Day program! With separate three-hour sessions for primary (years 3 - 6) and secondary (years 7 - 10), participants get hands-on experience caring for our amazing animals. Each session includes exciting activities such as preparing and delivering feeds, creating enrichment to engage the animals, and learning behind-the-scenes secrets of life at the zoo. Junior Zoo Keeper Program
The Junior Zoo Keeper Program delves into the nitty gritty, and often dirty side of caring for animals. Developed for students with a keen interest in animals, Junior Zoo Keepers learn about enclosure design; animal enrichment; animal wellbeing; breeding & conservation; the preparation of appropriate diets; and the clean up after feeding! Feel like the kids are having all the fun?
Try out our Curious Creatures Tour, a taste of the Zoo Keeper Life that the whole family can enjoy. Learn how we keep our animals mentally and physically engaged during their daily lives at the zoo. Visit behind the scenes in our enrichment room where you will help to make a toy or treat for one of our animals, then continue on to see various training sessions the keepers conduct daily.
