Lion Encounter

Meet our beautiful sun bears and discover the inspiring story behind their rescue and conservation.

Learn about Otay’s journey and the extraordinary work of Australian conservationist Mary Hutton, who helped save more than 1,000 bears from the illegal wildlife trade. During this encounter, you’ll have the opportunity to feed these intelligent and charismatic animals while gaining a deeper understanding of one of the world’s most endangered bear species.

Meerkat Encounter

Meet and feed our playful mob of meerkats in this fun and interactive encounter.

Step inside their habitat alongside one of our experienced keepers and watch these curious and energetic animals up close as they explore, forage, and interact with their group. A favourite for all guests, this experience is guaranteed to leave you smiling.

Giraffe Encounter

You will be overshadowed and in awe of our towering giraffe pair Shaba & Mzungu! 

Meet our beautiful giraffe family and help feed these gentle giants from our elevated viewing platform.

Come face-to-face with Shaba and Mzungu as they stretch up for their favourite leafy treats, showcasing their long lashes, curious personalities, and surprisingly dexterous tongues. With the herd currently caring for their newest arrival, this special encounter offers a wonderful opportunity to support mum and dad while enjoying an unforgettable close-up experience.

Rhino Encounter

Get as close as possible to the second largest land animal – two or more tons of power and strength!

During this encounter, you’ll have the opportunity to meet Eco or Ubuntu and learn more about the threats facing rhinos in the wild, as well as the important conservation work helping to protect them for future generations. You may even discover for yourself the unique texture of rhino skin.

Tree Kangaroo Encounter

You will have the privilege of feeding our beautiful Tree Kangaroo Simbu his favourite food.

Barking Owl Encounter

Step inside the aviary with Ruby and Rocco, our magnificent Barking Owls, and experience these remarkable birds up close.

SHARK AND RAY ENCOUNTER

Get closer than ever as sharks and rays come to the beach for a feeding experience you’ll never forget.

Join one of our expert Aquarium Keepers to meet and feed the inhabitants of our Shark & Ray Pond. The pond is home to Fiddler and Shovelnose Rays as well as Port Jackson Sharks, all of which come within arm’s reach as you feed them from the beach.
