Enrichment building sessions
Join our Enrichment Officer Sarah for twice daily community sessions to learn how to reuse everyday home items to create enrichment for your own pets! Find the sessions in the Viewing Park (T4)
11am to 12pm and 1pm to 2pm Saturday and Sunday
Clean Up Your Environment Challenge
Why not start living more sustainably today? This weekend you can:
Bring a reusable coffee cup to the zoo or buy a coffee and enjoy a dedicated DIY coffee station. Free for members and $1 donation for general public to fill up your cup with instant coffee goodness.
Join us in our conservation promise and go into the running to WIN!
Tag @nationalzoo and put #SustainableNZA on a selfie with your reusable coffee cup at the zoo to go in the running to win a ZOO PRIZE.
Keeper Talks
On Saturday, Sunday & Monday we are shaking up our 3:15pm penguin talk (18J) to focus on ‘The Wildlife Impact of Litter‘. Listen to our knowledgeable keepers as they outline the importance of protecting our wildlife everyday.
